Brazil lifts AW139 grounding
By Dominic Perry

Brazil's regulator, the Agéncia Nacional d'Avição Civil (ANAC), has lifted the temporary grounding order it imposed on Brazilian-registered AgustaWestland AW139s following a fatal accident on 19 August.

An investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
Hopefully the Irish will lift the grounding very soon as well. :!:

For those to whom it may concern: according to JVR Audiovisual NO OPEN DAGEN DVD will be produced this year. Hence no "pre-ordering" on the official website as well. Yes, this is because of the cutbacks. :(

Another "new" addition to the static park: Gippsland GA-8 Airvan PH-KMR. Formerly used by Kammair of Rotterdam, now operated by http://www.stichtinghoogvliegers.nl as an ambulance aircraft.

At last some more news.
According to twitter messages of the KLu there will be a Polish MiG-29 flying and a Czech Mi-24 in the static. Plus a flying Fouga.
(Still no news about a Su-22)

According to http://milspotters.nl/forum/viewtopic.p ... 107#p99107 we may again see an AWACS in the static during the Luchtmachtdagen.

Perhaps more exciting for most: http://milspotters.nl/forum/viewtopic.p ... 123#p99123 .
German P-3 probably off the list.
Possibly two C295s, Italian AMX of the RSV, 2 Lakenheath F-15s, 2 Norwegian F-16s, maybe more additions...
Yes Roberto, thanks much for lifting the veil on possible participants that are "still in the running"! :thumb:

At milspotters roberto says:
Cougar Duke4 nam vanmiddag afscheid met de mededeling: tot volgende week woensdag, dus we kunnen minstens 1 Cougar verwachten.
Het liefst dezelfde S-441 als vandaag, want die is mooi grijs.
I suppose Wednesday is used for rehearsals (air power demo, sar demo?). Arriving on Wednesday allready just for the static sounds a bit strange to me.
Perhaps we can see a Cougar flying...?

They also state an E-3A static and a Dutch Lynx flying. We already know from people that are boiling due to their proximity to the fire, that is not going to happen.

Anyone more info on this?
According this page the Dutch Spitfire will also make his appearance at Leeuwarden.
But as far as I know, the spit is grounded due engine rebuild.

Thanks Laurens.

I don't know when that page has been written, or posted on the web, but the BBMF released its schedule IIRC somewhen in February or March. If "your" page has been written around that time already, they didn't know about the mishap of the Dutch one, thought that one happened in July, around the Koksijde era.
