In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Too bad there are hardly any complete aircraft one your pics... This tailcutting really is too much if you ask me.

Nice set, with some different angles.
You do seem to have some dust spots on your sensor (see pic 4) above the fueselage.

To be hones I like the detail shots more then the full aircraft.

Hahaha, you're right Frank, totally looked over that :mrgreen:

@ Lars: welcome to the prime club mister, now the learning curve of how to frame an airplane can begin. Sometimes you really need to pick your spot, in order to frame the way you're looking for.....it will ask for some more effort, but it will pay off. it's funny how suddenly compositions are becoming more important with a prime.....

To continue with that, I have the impression your framing is fine, in the sense that you compose on purpose and get what you want. The matter of taste is simply a different one. As an example: for me no. 3 works, no. 7 does not. Likewise, no. 2 has nice dynamics to me, no. 9 is a fine rotation spot wasted by obstructions. With the workers & equipment as subject though, i.e. focused and further into the frame, the same shot could turn out dramatically good with the 747 thundering by behind them. Again: matter of taste.

Finally, internet is up again, 5 days without it is not normal...:)

@ Lars, congrats on your lens dude, a very good lens which is my number 1 choice as well..:) Have fun with it, i see you are putting it through its paces. As a side note, i agree with the choice of framing but it's all up to yourself in the end. Just take notice and do with it as you please..

He Lars,

what a great improvement on your sharpness !!! I think you have to learn the new way off shooting with a prime!!! But the quality makes up for that !!
