REQ: Is there a RAF Hercules unit (after Lynehams LTW) ?

Post by perrie »

Hi all,

I have a question about the Hercules unit. This summer I did some spotting in the UK. I photographed some Hercules at Brize Norton. I used to write the Hercules units as LTW (Lyneham Transport Wing) because a/c fly unmarked. Is there a name for the Hercules units at Brize Norton or are they pooled in different squadrons?
Guess it's not BTW (By The Way or Brize Norton Transport Wing  )

thanks, Per
