Seoul Air Show(IDEX) 2011

This event was held from 18-23rd October at Seongnam AB on the eastern outskirts of Seoul.

On the 17th October there was a media preview and a practise flypast.

From sightings at Wonju,the F-5 formation is known,

HS-125 58-342 and 58-346 and one other(in addition to 58-353) flew after 16.30 on the 18th.

It would appear the US Army unit here has lost all it's A model Blackhawks and acquired several ex Fort Campbell ,KY examples from the 101st AVN who have re-equipped with newer UH-60M.As the UH-60L all start with,(in theory) 26xxx(apart from some 27xxx ones,but none as high as the last threes noted here),all the UH-60 noted here should commence with 26xxx.

However 94-26536 was written-off in a collision with another 101 AVN UH-60L on 18 June 1996,so maybe your log/photos need re-checking,K2G.

Another UH-60L that needs checking is the one ending in 740,as the (in theory) only candidare 97-26740 is/was with the Co B,1-207 AVN,Alaska NG.

All other last threes reported above are either 2-2 AVN(based at Seongnam) or ex 101 AVN.

Overall,well done in reading the Blackhawks,K2G.

The other VIP CN235 is 050 and the third S92 should be 05-050.
