easyJet to open 23rd base, in Lisbon

easyJet confirmed it will open its 23rd base, in Lisbon, on 19-04-2012 starting with 5 new routes to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Venice and Asturias in addition to its 16 existing routes. This will increase easyJet’s network from Lisbon to 21 routes and over 150 weekly services during the peak season. Initially easyJet expects to handle 225,000 additional passengers in the first year, with an additional two A319 aircraft that will be permanently based in Lisbon
