Malden () - 2011 CIV

Post by Buccaneer S.2B »

Good evening,

This afternoon (Friday the 28th) I visited Malden, to practice my weekly MTB trip in this beautiful area.
To my surprise the gliders were active, a quick and dirty log (16.00/17.30) :

PH-386
PH-733
PH-745
PH-782 / NA
PH-1108 / NY
PH-1112 / NW
D-3524

The Nijmeegse Aero Club is building a new (huge) hangar, to be completed before the start of the next season.
For the time being some gliders are parked outside, covered while not active.

regards,
Remco

Good evening,

Last Saturday (the 10th of December) a quick peek inside the fresh new hangar of the gliding club provided some gliders:

PH-386 Schleicher ASK13
PH-733 / NF Schleicher ASK21
PH-745 Grob G109B
PH-782 Schleicher ASK23B
PH-847 / NE Rolladen-Schneider LS-4a

Except the Grob (privately owned) all gliders are owned by the Nijmeegse Aero Club

Inside the restaurant the wing of an unknown glider can (still) be found.
