Lufthansa sells British Midland to IAG (British Airways)

According to Dutch newspaper Telegraaf, Lufthansa announced today that it is to sell its daughter British Midland to the International Airline Group. IAG is the holding covering British Airways and Iberia. After approval by the financial watchdog the sale is due to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2012.
