Wat mij ook opvalt is dat heel veel namen van maatschappijen verkeerd gespeld zijn
It's strange that a misleading headline is going its own way. Anyone who have read the original article knows that KL will be flying to MNL via HKG as of April 2012 instead of nonstop. The Manila Standard is very clear on this (they mention a 6 weekly AMS-HKG-MNL with crew layover at HKG with no traffic rights on HKG-MNL-HKG). The real question is whether HKG will see 13 weekly flights or that it will also mean a reduction in capacity to HKG.ron mak wrote:'KLM zet punt achter directe lijndienst naar Manilla'
We can not trust all information on airlineroute.net or airliners.net, for BA already operated LHR-AMS-LHR 8x/daily in Summer 2011. And BA has operated LHR 8x/daily in many previous summers.Xanadu_A343 wrote:British Airways will increase LHR-AMS from 7 to 8 daily compared to summer 2011 with the addition of an extra evening roundtrip.

You are correct BA operated 8x daily LHR-AMS in the past. The article however is referring to changes for the duration of the entire summer season starting 25MAR2012 and compares data with 2011, as does this topic as I am not mistaken. BA did not operate LHR-AMS 8x daily (during weekdays) for the entire season in 2011.XYZ wrote:We can not trust all information on airlineroute.net or airliners.net, for BA already operated LHR-AMS-LHR 8x/daily in Summer 2011.
