What the...!? I hope for them the infrastructure at Jakarta CGK will improve then. The presence of Lion Air is already immense over there and the number of gates is limited. We'll see.ehusmann wrote:I just fell of my chair because of this one....
According to a thread on Airliners.net, Lion Air of Indonesia has ordered 230 B737 !!! That is 29 NGs and 201 MAX. Together with already delivered, previous orders and commitment, their total number of B737 ordered will now reach 554 !!!
I think I just fell again...

Edit: it also involves 150 options... but the order is not yet firm, it is a commitment.
Just to make it clear, these 8 are the confirmation of the commitment announced in August. So not another 8.Gietje wrote:Singapore Airlines has ordered eight B777-300ERs. These were previously listed as unidentified. This will bring the total of B777s ordered to 85, although some are retired already.

These are to be delivered in 2013-2014, and will bring the total of the type in Singapore's fleet to 27.
Ok, didn't read that, it's hard to keep track of all those orders.ehusmann wrote:Just to make it clear, these 8 are the confirmation of the commitment announced in August. Look at the post above yours, I already mentioned itThon wrote:Hawaiian Airlines signs firm order for five more A330s
Honolulu-based Hawaiian Airlines has grown its order for Airbus A330-200s – today signing for an additional five aircraft. Hawaiian became a new Airbus operator just last year and now has a commitment of 22 A330 aircraft – including four that are leased. The airline currently operates five A330-200

Since only 6 B777-300ER orders are published on the Boeing website (although 7 are known) and AA officially still holds orders for 6 B777-200ER (which will probably never be delivered as 200ERs), this means AA ordered at least 2 more B777, but most likely 8 more B777-300ER.American Airlines wrote:The Company also has firm orders for 15 777 widebody aircraft, which are scheduled for delivery in 2012 through 2016.
