Lynx crashed near Gütersloh

Today a Royal Army Lynx has crashed near Gütersloh. Lynx was on a trainingflight, and according to witnesses already on fire in the air. After an emergency-landing or crash-landing the chopper burnt out, 3 crew members sligthly injured.

Well you can consider that a complete write off! Luckily the crew escaped relatively unharmed!

Confirmed as Lynx AH7 XZ210 c/n 126 of British Army Air Corps 1 Regiment

The British army is not known as the Royal Army,the service is referred to as 'the army' within Britain.At no point is the 'Royal' title used.
