This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Thanks Rene , let me know when you´re going........ReneHenckens wrote:Once again...such amazing work.
Really love it. The reflections, the light, the contrast, the clarity....just stunning.
I want to go back there soon
Nice pictures. See here for more information. http://avherald.com/h?article=44714d68&opt=0wild weasel wrote: 2- even better to see in this picture.......saw it for as far as my eyes could see. I saw it crossing the Kaagbaan to the cargo platform after about an hour, so i guess it returned to EHAM? maybe some one has some additional info?
That is great Jeroen, thanks for the info. i was expecting this one to dump fuel and head back to base, but i wasn't sure......Jeroentjuh wrote:Nice pictures. Thanks Lennart, to be honest i´m quite happy with them myself too......all the elements were right. I even had to run some serious amount of yards to get these shots, but luckely it paid off!WhiskeyDelta wrote:Menno, those KLM 747 shots are awesome!!! Never seen this before that beautiful!
I am missing one element, that's the rare plane Again kLM... Time for the next step people. Try to make this kind of pictures of the special planes at SPL, there are so many other planes as well at SPL. It seems to me that the photo spotters are stuck in the sunrise, beautifull light, noise etc discussion, but I think it is about planes I see so many companies on SPL, but hardly any foto on this forum. What about the Air Europa for example, new company for SPL but as far as I am right only a picture of Nusty so far that was really brilliant. What about Air one Express etc. Same compliment for Nusty.wild weasel wrote:Thanks Lennart, to be honest i´m quite happy with them myself too......all the elements were right. Than that rare plane has to be exactly at that spot, at that time, where right at that moment this KLM 747 was taxying and the sun was peaking through the clouds, right at that moment, so i get what you´re saying, but it makes no sense. cause if that rare plane just isn´t there, right at that time, what can you do.....Hopla wrote:I am missing one element, that's the rare plane Again kLM... I don't want to start a discussion, but to challange the photo spotters!
Hopla wrote:That's the challenge I want to raise. You can just wait for KLM again but you can also check what time a plane is leaving. Try to find the best spot and to make the best out of it.
Maybe you don't care what plane it is, but you post for other people, not for yourself, otherwise there is no reason to post. Maybe other people should like to see something different then the same KLM again. Only because photo spotters would like to show each other how nice light there was, and you can make out a specific situation.
No offence, keep on posting. But as said, try to make more out of a visit to SPL and pictures made.
Sorry, but i really do disagree on this one, this light situation was within a very short window (not more then 5 minutes) of opportunity. First of all, i was not waiting for this KLM 747, it just happened to be there, as was this beautifull light. The spot i had was the best to get the image like it is, i even had to run for it.Hopla wrote:That's the challenge I want to raise.
