Liege (EBLG/LGG) - 2011 MIL

Post by cis »

This week a Nigeria AF AW-139 (NAF540) was seen inside the Agusta hangar.
Also a AW-139 (Pakistan Army/gvmt?) was seen but serial not noted. Who can help with this serial?

Nigerianen I can confirm. But present inside are a couple of other AW139's. Estonia and Finish coastguard and a Finish civilian one. Also a Belgian civil AB-206 was present for refurbishment. I didn't note these civilian serials sorry. Furthermore present was a modified tail of a AW139 without any registration but marked A7-064 which will be transported to the Middle East. So no Pakistani.

Jeroen

Had a short visit today at Agusta.
Inside was seen the following :
NAF-540 AW-139 Nigerian Government / Presidential helikopter
ES-PWA AW-139 Estonian Border Guard
OH-HVO AW-119 Finnish Border Guard
OO-COP AB-206 Civillian / for sale (€ 200.000)
unmarked AW-139 Civillian / for sale (€ 3.000.000)
275 AW-139 tailboom only Irish Air Corps

The Nigerian AW-139 is there for allready 2 months and is almost ready
The Estonian AW-139 will be there for at least 3 months being fitted with new electronics
The Finnish AW-119 will be there for about a month.
The tailboom of the Irish AW-139 is there for structural repairs. The rest of the helikopter is not there.

With regards
Nico
