Last Tuesday i made a trip to the IWM in Duxford. Got by play from Bremen to Stansted and then with a rented Car to Duxford. The hired car in fact was more expensive than the flight with Ryanair (41€ return).
It was the first time i visited this great Museum and i'm still deeply impressed.
Here are some of my pictures i took there
First some kind of collage
Many impressive planes and nice weather
Also impressive. The visualization of the loses the USA had in WW2 only operating from GB. Guess the wall is 150m long
Second time in my life i saw a Blackbird. First time i was younger, the plane farther away but flying
Also great to have the opportunity to look over the shoulder of the mechanics
The Flying Hanger
Still stunned seeing so much in such a short time
Hope you like the pictures.
