Perhaps surprisingly EZY has reduced the frequency of MAD-AMS-MAD from 2x/daily to 1x/daily in the peak summer months. This indicates the level of business pax. on EZY flights.

Following Lufthansa's announcement that it is withdrawing from FRA-Calgary in Summer 2012, KLM released a new Summer schedule increasing its operations from 5x/week to daily starting June 2nd:

The beginning of the end allready started when Delta and Northwest merged. While Memphis is reducing, Atlanta will be increasing to 3x daily in S12: 1x DL A332, 1x DL A333 and 1x KLM B772.

Olympic Airlines has released a new Summer 2012 schedule which indicates ATH-AMS-ATH will operate 2x/daily on OA metal. As part of the new OA/KL codeshare agreement the new OA flight replaces the 3rd KLM frequency.

KLM had earlier announced plans to increase the new non-stop B777 flight AMS-Quito-Guayaquil-AMS to 4x/weekly, it seems these plans have been cancelled. In Summer 2012 the frequency remains 3x/week.

While Icelandair is increasing frequency to 12x/week in peak Summer 2012:

Zojuist lees ik in het Parool (papieren versie, dus linken is ietwat lastig) dat Sichuan Airlines in Juli 2012 zal beginnen met een dagelijkse lijndienst tussen Chengdu en Amsterdam met een A330. Iemand enige info over deze nieuwe lijndienst?

Volgens onderstaande link beginnen ze in Juni in plaats van Juli. Ze hebben een vloot van E145s, A319s, A320, A321s en A330s. Die laatste zullen dus wel onze kant op komen.

Gaat KLM deze zomer nog deze zomer naar Cancun (CUN) vliegen aangezien MP gestopt is met de pax opreatie.
Of zal ArkeFly de enige Nederlandse airline blijven die CUN gaat aandoen deze zomer?
