The Orion was planned out to Diego Garcia,but after receiving it's clearance,closed down and cancelled.This airplane is one of at least two east coast P-3Cs that have augmented the VP-40 TDY at Kadena in recent weeks.

437 AW C-17A 07-7189 RCH667 was heard heading west on Manilla ACC on the 27th and may well have visited here en route to Diego Garcia.

Today saw the start of a 6 aircraft RTAF F-16 detachment.The only one known is F-16B code 10201 from 102 Sqn.4 others returned to their home bases as Star 1/2(102 Sqn) and Saturn 1/2(to Khorat,so probably also 102 Sqn).
