Easy to say when you pack a Canon 1D with 500mm and converters
I will remember these words next time I'm struggling with my crappy gear. Thank God for X-mas presents.

Nice ones Vinnie, as always. How about an SPL trip with Lennart soon?

Even with this set the sky is the limiting factor  Trust me
A warm hazy day ruins photos more as using crappy gear on a cold clear sky day

Yesterday (20-dec-2011) spotted a AN-124 skyhigh, followed short by a B747. Photo taken from Schiphol with the 70-200 f/2.8 IS @ 200mm ;-)

Hi Tom,
An "old" Canon EOS300D  and an 8 inch Skywatcher Telescope.
(For info check this topic  )

If the weather conditions are just right, and yesterday they were, and if traffic is interesting
I really enjoy taking such pictures, although they need some processing.

Regards,

Rob
