This may well be the last post for this base for this year as this field is now under water and the "experts" state it is likely to be 2012 before the field is fit for flying operations again.
At least 2 C-130H were not able to be flown out prior to flooding and one of these is L8-9/35 60109.The A319-115CJ L16-1/47 60221 is also trapped here.
This base is currently closed due to flooding and will not re-open before February 2012,so those thinking of visiting the Children's day here for 2012(on 14th January),don't bother.
It is just possible there may be helicopter moves prior to the full re-opening.
By 14th December the flood water had receded and limited helicopter operations had resumed.
The 2 RTSD Bell 412,codes 93306 and 93307 had returned from U-Tapao and were firse seen here the previous day,as were an unidentified RTAF,201 Sqn Bell 412 and a RTAF,203 Sqn UH-1H.
At least one active RTPA Bell 412 is here, serial 2605.
Other police helicopters seen were,

41060 Jetstream 41 RTA,VIP Sqn not flown for some time, but also washed since the floods
All other airplanes from this unit were not present there on this date.
2 601 Sqn C-130H were on the flight line,60101 and 60109,plus the A319 and the 2 HS-748 listed above.
2 904 Sqn F-5E codes noted in the 904 Sqn hangar were 90404 and 90409.All the other F-5s with this unit were absent from here.
Limited VFR day fixed-wing operations may resume soon, but it will be some months before full 24/7 IFR unlimited operations can resume here.
This field has re-opened to (so far) limited operations.
By the 13th December, there was a limited helicopter presence when the 2 RTSD Bell 412 were first noted back from their temporary home of U-Tapao.The RTAF detachments from 201 and 203 Sqns had also been re-established and the RTPA had some Bell 412s flying from here.By the 26th December the first fixed-wing residents returned.
