tragic indeed, but a falling into propelor turbine???

Turbine is at the back of a jet engine, and a Su25 does not have a prop in my humble opinion...

Indeed, a Frogfoot does not have a propeller. My guess is that some things got lost because of the translation and because most journalists don't have a clue about aviation. Probably the turbine blades are meant. With a running engine these could suck you "into" the engine, causing very serious injury or death.

Indeed, and If you are sucked into engine you are not killed by Turbine which is at the back of an engine :wink:
Agree must have been something in translation, Sad fact remains this poor guy was killed..
