The CH-47D was loaded in to the C-17A 02-1106. It was stripped from both rotors and gear boxes. This is an old Ansbach machine. The Chinook was not read ourselves, and should be heading back to US.

These were the main reason for heading to Germany. Although their flights were postponed later, all three were outside and had their doors open. No other activity whatsover on this airfield.
