Currently flying from here are 2 'new' MH-60S from HCS-25,one of these 167889 RB-03 was seen flying from here in the first week of 2012.The modex for the other 'new' one is RB-01.The 2 previous incumbants of HCS-25 Det 6 both departed here on 23 December,and it would appear these 2 Seahawks will be the new mounts for this Det.

Currently flying from here are 2 'new' MH-60S from HCS-25,one of these 167889 RB-03 was seen flying from here in the first week of 2012.The modex for the other 'new' one is RB-01.The 2 previous incumbants of HCS-25 Det 6 both departed here on 23 December,and it would appear these 2 Seahawks will be the new mounts for this Det.

RB01 might be 167873, together with 167889/RB03 it was onboard the USS Essex in Oct/Nov11. However 167873 was unmarked at the time.

26th January;

Both 167873 RB-01 and 167889 RB-03 MH-60S HSC-25 Det 6 departed MCAS Iwakuni today.They both probably embarked LHD-2/USS Essex which will be sailing south for the annual round of exercises in South East Asia.
