I'd read that it was a A321 involved?? A short summary of the linked article would be useful in order to discuss it.

It'd be very impressive if they managed a tailstrike with an A320!!! Pressure bulkhead damage maybe? Manchester would have the facilities to repair most other forms of damage you'd expect to result from a tailstrike.
