Did they stop after 2012 or did they already finished!? (sorry but french is not my language :wink: )

Dear Tigerspoon,

Message states that the AdlA Alpha Jet solo display team will be discontinued as per direct. So there will ne no flying displays in 2012. Too bad!

In a nutshell: French authorities have decided to stop the Alpha Jet solo display effective from today. The reasons given are "operational constraints encountered and the necessity to give priority to the training of new pilots for the Air Force". A real pity, as the new display pilot had already been training since october. The unit indicates that they might still be available for some static presentations (on the ground, that is).
