Software like PS or LR is quite popular. If you download them via a popular torrent then you should be allright. Via torrents it's almost impossible to download viruses or trojans, because you download from multiple sources.
I've download games, software, music, movies, series via torrent on a regular basis. Never once got a virus or other bad stuff :)

Edit: a full version of Photoshop costs €1010. I can but a real nice lens for that kind of money. Maybe if I have a real job I'll think about it (currently ex-student with only a ==censored== part-time job)

Guess i,m a bit oldfashioned, in the non-digital days most of us shot slides and some person's photo's.
The result was either good or it was pretty lousy, but most of the times it was great stuff. :?

With the digital age we have to buy a Lens with imagestabelizer, otherwise the result is unsharp. So we have the 500 upto 4000 euro lens :( , after that we still need to edit the results in 2 or 3 editprograms, again for a couple of 100 or 1000 euro's . (let's not start about Camerabags of a few 100 euris, and all the memory cards, extra PC's and external memory storage we need to process all those Gigabites).
I was realy suprised when i looked at my 1st digital results, what a ==censored== that was.
Nowadays i use photoshop CS2 to sharpen up some of the results, and every now and then play a bit with the levels. But basicly i would prefer my slides, taken with a A1 and a f4/300mm lens.

So Frits, no good advise from my side, just to let you know you're not the only one who doesn't spent crazy amounts of money to get your results at a higher level.

You really want to be promoting criminal behaviour on a public forum - and get Scramble into all kinds of trouble?
Well done!
Hold your horses!!
In the Netherlands (dutch-law) downloadingwhatever from where ever is not a crime.
uploading of copyrighted things is a crime.

I have never said people must upload their CS5 version (which is a crime, see above), just suggest that you can download it from a torrensite or newsgroup, which isn't a crime accoridng dutch-law. (And before the discussion starts, I don't make those rules, but this is how it works in the Netherlands)
Be aware of trojan horses with key-gen, but key's can be found on the net also without key-gen's.
Be sure your "anti-virus"softeware is up to date.

So I don't see wat kind of trouble Scramble can get in posting this.

It is no public secret one can download the mentioned programs via torrents or newsgroups. Everybody knows that. But we do not want to facilitate it. You are free to make such a remark but providing links to torrents or program keys etc will be directly removed.

Maybe providing links and torrents is in line with Dutch law but we, as Scramble, will not facilitate illegal downloading of programs via this way.

Downloading for personal use may not be against the Dutch law but, as far as I know, that does NOT apply for copyrighted software!!!!!!
BTW... if you use a torrent program to download, you're also uploading (seeding) while downloading, thus... commiting a crime!
So again... DON'T!!!

Grtz.

Not correct
You can turn that option on off :d
But as mentioned bij Thijs, end of discussion.
