REQ: Destination Westland Whirlwind HAS3 XM660

On 20 January was seen at highway A1 in the direction of Amersfoort:
Westland WhirlwindHAS3 c/n WA251 XM660

This bird was last seen in July 2010 in RAF Millom Aviation and Military Museum .
Any ideas of the destination of this Wirlwind?

no idea, but from what i can tell you, a few months ago, XM660 was spotted in Brugges Docks, last summer, on the same location where currently the 3 Mi-26's for Congo are stored.

Jack,

When it left the UK already more than a year ago, it was believed to be sold to the PALIS Foundation in Greece but has indeed been stored for quite a few months at Bruges harbour. Can you tell if it was going east or west on the A1?
