It seems, although my French is very bad, that there is a special EU Summit in Brussels January 30th. And all aircraft will fly to Brussels, as usual. Unless the ATC at Brussels is on strike next week, in that case these government/military planes will have to divert to Beauvechain, and that will have concequenses for the highway between Beauvechain and Brussels.
But please correct me if I'm wrong...

As far as I understand, demonstrations are expected in Belgium next Monday while high-ranking oliticians will be meeting in Brussels. The demonstrations might also lead to closure of Brussels airport. Therefore, the Belgian goverment is considering the possibility of using EBBE for the VIP aircraft expected on Monday. However, EBBE faces the problem of limited parkingplace and limited refueling capacity. A decision was expected to take place this afternoon.

The possible diversions have to do with the general strike which will hit Belgium on Monday. As can be read in the Schiphol thread all Jet Airways flights will divert to Amsterdam. So diversions to Beauvechain seem likely. Guess the military won't strike.

Michel

Just understood that most leaders have indeed landed at Beauvechain and from there they will fly by helicopter into Brussels (and some by car).
Most (if not all) will leave tonight again.

SVF621 is inbound Beauvechain (probably diverted from Brussels due to industrial action) now.
