I have been told its ok here by joost this link will interest all of us i hope,

http://www.collectspace.com/news/news-040412a.html

Comms will be on liveatc.net then just enter your desired icao code for the airport so add KIAD for washington DC.

Also i will try keep up with to movements and post here also and maybe radio activity thread too. I will watch flight aware website and try for screenshots of them. :)

All the best to all, whom try get more on this for me.

1 of the T-38 talon's is up shortly out of hunstville and will fly to washington i think he is 1 of the two for this.

Ok, misunderstanding...

Think it is ok for the link to be put in Military section as it news, but radio moves / live atc / flightaware moves should be placed in Radio activity...(in my opinion)
You can refer to this topic in radio activity as reference what we are listening to..

I doubt if it has anything to do with Discovery's delivery to Dulles TBH, as NASA has mentioned different reasons for this flight at their media advisory M12-060 (http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2012/ap ... yover.html)

Also, I am afraid the flight-characteristics of the SCA carrying an orbiter are far too bad to allow flying over the center of the capitol.

BTW for people interested in the planning of the delivery: http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2012/ap ... vents.html
