News: crash Robinson R22 OO-DTZ in Hoei, Belgie, 06042012

Robinson R22 Beta II OO-DTZ was destroyed by fire in a fatal crash in a park near Avenue du Condroz in the city centre of Huy (Hoei), Belgium, on 6 April 2012. The helicopter had struck a cable car, severing the cable. The pilot and a photographer were killed.

Hi Frank,

the aircraft involved in the accident in huy was OO-DTZ.
The OO-JYD crashed a year ago during a training/exam flight.

Do you have some more details of the accident of R22 OO-JYD a year ago? I've never seen something of it.

Mentioned in the Helispot in Scramble 375:
Robinson R22 II c/n 3976 OO-JYD Best in Sky, Perwez. Substantial damaged. Tipped after a heavy landing at Genk-Zwartberg on 30 June 2010.
