Do you have a tablet (IPad)?

Post by Thijs »

At this moment we are discussing about other ways of presenting information, not only via our publications and website but also via tablets (Ipad etc) and smartphones.

Before we take some actions we would like to know how many of you have a tablet, to get some insight in the market.

We would also like to know how do you use your tablet. Do you take it with you on a one day spotting trip? or only a multiple day spottng trip? or do you always leave it at home? do you only use it for reference or also for reading magazines? You can leave your comments below.

We already have some concepts in mind but we are also looking forward to your thoughts. So if you have any ideas or want to join in developing one of the concepts let us know.

So we are interest in how you use your tablet and your ideas how Scramble could use tablets in order to present their information.

Thanks in advance,

Thijs

First of all, I genuine like my paper printed Scramble magazine. I like to to take along and read it.

That said, I like my back issues to be digital, with easier search possibilities.

A digital issue of the AFG would be great, as well as for the serial books.

Better still would be a thorough designed applet covering these areas of spotting.

Normally, I only bring my Iphone with me on spotting events.

Don't have a subscription now, but would definately consider it if there is a digital version for the iPad.
Answers will be questioned.....
