Noticed the announcement of 'Volkel in de Wolken' yesterday.

Airshow info.

Date = 20-05-2012

Airshow times = 13.00h / 17.00h

Does anybody have any experience visiting the spotters place at Volkel Airfield during "Volkel in de Wolkel". I want to visite this to make some pictures when airplanes take of and land.

According to a post on the EWAS-website, the spotters places at both ends of the runway will be CLOSED during Volkel in de Wolken. (don't shoot the messenger :roll: )

Chinook and Cougar arriving at 10.00 and 10.15 for static display, also expected locally are two helo's for scenic flights and EC135's of the Police and ANWB Medical Assistance.

Spottersplace could still be closed(don't know if it is, but just so you know). Demo at 17:15 is a special demonstration for familyday at the airbase.

Normaly only the spottersplace at the 06 side is closed. De 24 side should be open.
