On Saturday morning I was invited to attend a small photoshoot at RAF Marham to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of II(AC) sqn RAF. There were only 50 photographers invited to the short photocall before the squadron's families' day event began at midday. On the way home from Marham, we visited the families' event for 3sqn's centenary at RAF Coningsby. For the first time in what seemed like months, the sun was out and the weather was warm.
Here are a few shots from both events:
RAF Marham - all static, only a Spitfire was due to display in the afternoon.
RAF Coningsby - lots of flying and very low flypasts over us by the BBMF and a flypast by 2 x 3sqn Typhoons with a Hurricane of the BBMF.
