Comment: Der Nostalgieklassiker dieses Jahres ist die in Pyöngjang aufgetauchte Ilyushin 14 der Chosonminhang in vermutlich sogar flugfähigen Zustand; ein Geschenk von Stalin aus dem Jahre 1955.

The propliner surprise of this year is so far this Ilyushin 14 having been sighted at Pyöngyang in probably flyable conditions; a present provided by Stalin in 1955.
Rumours are she flew to Pyongyang last April.
Of course confirmation is not all that easy to get, certainly not from North Korean authorities... :wink:

it's not airworthy - it it was preserved and painted for the celebrations last month, and will be moved to an exhibition hall later
