According to today's Schiphol newsletter, we can expect 'Kon Tiki Sky' (sounds reliable, doesn't it? ) from Romania from July 2nd...

Kon Tiki Sky: a new airline with two new destinations
A new low-cost carrier has been established in Romania under the brand name Kon Tiki Sky to operate scheduled passenger flights between Romania and Western Europe. Amsterdam has been included in their network of destinations. Kon Tiki Sky plans 14 weekly flights: a daily service to Bucharest, four flights a week to Timisoara and three flights a week to Cluj-Napoca. The latter two destinations are new to Schiphol. The service will be operated with a B737-400. The flights, which will be launched on 2 July, can be booked on the carrier’s website.

According to staff of Air Bridge cargo , they will be operating flights on mondays and wednesdays with aircraft of Air Cargo Germany as from mid July. Recently Air Bridge bought part of the the shares of ACG.

Volga Dnepr dicht bij overname Air Cargo Germany

De Duitse kartelautoriteiten zullen waarschijnlijk de komende weken goedkeuring geven aan de overname van vrachtvervoerder Air Cargo Germany (ACG) door het Russische Volga Dnepr.

Het Russische bedrijf is al eigenaar van AirBridge Cargo en kan met de koop van de Duitse luchtvrachtvervoerder inbreken op de binnenlandse vrachtmarkt van de EU.
De waarde van ACG wordt geschat op 23 tot 30,5 miljoen euro, maar het is onduidelijk welk bedrag de Russen bereid zijn neer te tellen voor de Duitse vrachtvervoerder. ACG beschikt over een oude vrachtvloot van vier B747-400 met een gemiddelde leeftijd van twintig jaar. De maatschappij heeft Hahn in de buurt Frankfurt als thuisbasis. Air Cargo Germany vliegt onder meer op Chicago.

Overnamepogingen van ACG door de zakenman Rashid Mursekaev, eigenaar van VIM-Avia, mislukten onlangs.

Vracht voor ACG komt nu al soms bij ABC binnen, word nu met de truck naar HHN gebracht... Ook komt er vracht ban HHN naar AMS die door gaat naar ORD.

As per 11MAY 2012 Garuda Indonesia is increasing capacity by 10% on selected routes in July 2012. These capacity increase is made possible with 257-seater Airbus A330-300 operating, replacing 222-seater A330-200.

Following routes is to be operated by A330-300 instead of -200:

Jakarta – Dubai – Amsterdam 04JUL12, 06JUL12, 08JUL12, 11JUL12, 15JUL12, 18JUL12, 20JUL12, 22JUL12 (DXB/AMS departs on following day)

Maybe this was posted before, but I could not find it. Airlineroute is reporting transavia.com is starting a seasonal route to Erbil from June-October, with the first flight commencing tomorrow and last flight on 25OCT2012. Fares are 670 euros return for all flights.
