Definitely no resuming of MIA-flights the upcoming winter. Today announced in internal message.

Seat availability has been zeroed-out in Amadeus GDS, so I guess MIA is definitely off for next winter.

This has now be sent to KLM sales offices:

"MIA flights WI12/13
KL will not resume service to MIA for the Winter 12 season.
Affected customers will be re-accommodated on alternate KL*/DL service via ATL"

Delta changes for Winter 2012:

- ATL-AMS increases from daily to 11x weekly from 27OCT2012 (which is in effect a continuation of the extra summer flight with a reduced frequency)
- MSP-AMS operates 2x daily A333 iso 1x 767 and 1x A333
- PDX-AMS reduces from planned daily A332 to 5x weekly B767

13:10-17:25 DL33 AMS-ATL 767 X457

Turkish Airlines has announced that it will take back all international flights operated by Anadolujet. This means that the route ESB-AMS-ESB will be operated by TK starting next week at the following new times:

- dep. 13:10 ESB - arr. 16:00 AMS TK 1959 Non-Stop B738 Mon, Thu, Sat
- dep. 17:00 AMS - arr. 21:50 ESB TK 1960 Non-Stop B738 Mon, Thu, Sat

Due to the new deal with touroperator Neckermann, Air Europa will upgrade all flights between Amsterdam and Madrid from E195 to B737-800 equipment from november onwards.

Passengers from Neckermann will use Air Europa flights ex Madrid to Cancun (CUN) and Punta Cana (PUJ), instead of the AF/KL flights via CDG and ATL.

Delta Airlines has released a new Winter Schedule 2012/2013 which includes a new 2nd service to ATL 5x/week to offset the many USA services to Europe, DL has cancelled or reduced in the upcoming winter schedule:

- dep. 10:30 AMS - arr. 14:40 ATL DL 603 A333 Daily
- dep. 13:10 AMS - arr. 17:25 ATL DL 33 B767-300ER Daily ex. Sun, Thu
- dep. 16:40 AMS - arr. 20:20 ATL KL 0621 A333 Daily ex. Sun, Wed
- dep. 16:40 AMS - arr. 20:20 ATL KL 0621 A332 Sun, Wed

This winter DL will not operate ATL-BCN and ATL-MXP.

The new capacity more than offsets the seasonal suspension of MEM-AMS-MEM which was 4x/week last winter.

At the same time Delta will increase capacity on JFK-AMS by operating A333 daily to substitute non-stop flights from JFK to Europe that have been suspended during the winter; JFK-ATH, JFK-FCO, JFK-PRG:

- dep. 16:25 JFK - arr. 05:55 AMS DL 70 A333 Daily (was B767)
- dep. 18:05 EWR - arr. 07:50 AMS DL 34 B767-300 Daily ex.Mon, Sat

Anyone knows if easyJet is planning to cancel their AMS-BCN from the start of the winterseason? Flights for W12/13 are not bookable anymore for the last couple of weeks.

Heard at the airport aswell, no confirmation yet though. Transavia was happy with this news.
