One of the MAFFS C-130s crashed 1st July 2012 near Edgemont, South Dakota
First reports are that the three occupants were brought to hospital.
At the moment of the Crash, bot 145th AW (NC ANG) and 153rd AW (WY ANG) deployed two C-130Hs to Cheyenne.
The aircraft involved is probably C-130H 92-1454 from the 156th AS / NC ANG, operating as "MAFFS-7". It was flying on the White Draw Fire in South Dakota, and according to unconfirmed sources it had a crew of four. At least three crew members survived the initial crash and were rushed to hospital by helicopter, and their current situation is yet unknown.
