Hi, Iwan

I have no plan to go to those airshows in this year(by now).
I'll tell you my schedule about two weeks before the airshow.
(We'll be able to meet at Iruma on Nov.3, I think.)

Cheers,
Uni

Hi all,
very probably I'll be in Tokyo in october, being an Eagle fan I saw there will be 5 shows in that period: Nagoya International Exhibition (the Le Bourget japanese version) and JASDF Tsuiki,/too far from Tokyo),Iruma,(trainer T-4 and C-1 cargo),Hamamatsu,(T-4,E767),Ashiya,(far) and Hyakuri,(F-15,F-4 and BlackHawk) so I was more interested visiting this last one  I checked on the Hyakuri JASDF site http://www.mod.go.jp/asdf/hyakuri/pr.html and (traducted) is written there will not be the Blue Impulse team...but my question is there will be a F-15 Demo Team as in the (past) american air shows, following some youtube videos about previous airfest in the same base seem yes,but on their site there are no infos about the performers...
Thanks in advance!

Hi Kenshiro,

Being completely new to Japanse airshows, I won't be able to give you any info on that. But if there is a F-15 Demo Team, I do hope they will visit as many shows as possible. Please let us know if you foind out more about it outside the Scramble forum.

Best regards from Holland,
Iwan

Unless things have changed since the last Japanese show I visited(Naha last year),there are no demonstration teams other than the Blue Impulse.

Sorry,I explained wrongly: I think it wasn't an 'official' air force demo team,(as the Usaf west coast F-15 demo team),but a demo specially performed by the base...however thisi's the indicted video :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooz9gA-vhWM

The the based F-15s(if a F-15 base) would cover that.Same with F-2s or F-4s.

You don't tend to see F-15s from other bases at Japanese shows.

The JASDF do usually perforn good flying displays at their shows.

For those who have not been to a Jalanese show before,be there early,it's all over by 15.00.Visiting airplanes are being removed from static from 12.00 onwards and these depart home from early afternoon.

Many Thanks for the infos about times for flight and static display,(I hope it would be fast move from the capital to that base!) However Hyakuri is the home of the 7 wing 305th F-15 squadron so as you said before it very probably will have a flight exhibition and for that reason i decided for Hyakuri instead of Iruma and Hamamatsu... What you think about the Nagoya international air expo,on the exhibitor list I read there will be some JASDF hardware but nothing more precise about the types: http://www.japanaerospace.jp/english/

As the Nagoya show is a new concept of airshow for Japan,it will be interesting to see what this show will be like.

The show is aimed at showcasing Japanese aerospace products.
