Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome

Post by andel »

Seen during the first Q-shed scramble by a Lightning since 1988 !!.
XS904/BQ Lightning scramble taxi and fast speed run whit afterburners.
XW544/O Buccaneer made a fast speed run in memory of the three crew from 15 Squadron that where killed in a collision a week earlier.
XL565/Y Hunter fast speed run.
WT333 Canberra Fast speed run (last time i saw this bird the condition was a bit less).
And highlight for me XM715 Victor K1 on one side called "Meldrew" and the other side "Teasin Tina" made a few taxirun`s but unfortunately it didn't get airborne this time.
and gone out for a bit of flying was XN584/E Jet Provost.
