New Raptor deployment to Kadena

Saturday 28th July,

The first F-22A deployment to Kadena AB has commenced.

Identified airplanes so far are 08-4167 and 09-4182 tail code FF from the 1st FW.Support KC-10A from the 305th AMW.

On Dutch Wings identifies both these jets as being from the 27th FS.

More serials when known on the Kadena page.

That would make sense as the 94FS are deployed to Savannah as Langley is having runway work done.

Noted last week were 18 x FF F-22A and 2 x T-38 at Savannah by me

Up to the evening of Friday,17th August,11 of the 12 deployed airplanes have been identified,

These are,

08-4153
08-4155
08-4161
08-4163
08-4165
08-4167
08-4170
09-4174
09-4178
09-4182
09-4187

From sightings so far,no 'flagship' jets have been seen.

Wasn't 4189 reported on the RODN blog too which would make twelve jets?

Eleven without the 27FS bird(4172).

So if 4189 is correct,that would make thirteen.

Time to re-check the RODN blog again!.

The '27FS' bird is in Savannah at the moment although it is possible that there are two carrying those markings (but unlikely).

Me error, 27th FS is indeed at savannah and not at Kadena.
