A US Air Force F-22 Raptor assigned the to Hawaii Air National Guard's 199th Fighter Squadron made an emergency landing on 31 July,
but the incident is not related to a series "hypoxia-like" incidents that has plagued the Lockheed Martin-built jet.
"Yesterday's IFE [in-flight emergency] was unrelated to the oxygen system," the USAF says.
"There was an indication of a possible problem with the front landing gear.
The aircraft landed without incident and was being looked at."
