On 9 September, Eurocopter EC120 B D-HALX was dameged beyond repair in a fatal crash during an airshow at Rossfeld near Metzingen while manouvring during an airshow. One spectator was killed and there were several injuries by rotor parts and other parts of the helicopter that flew into the crowd.
