I was on holiday east of Heraklion and our apartment was directly under the approach and can confirm that the Herc on Tues 28th was RSAF, but unfortunately could not see the serial (bring back the old days when serials were applied to the undersides of the wings)
I also noted the P-3 heading east on the 29th, presumably out of Souda Bay, however there were two that morning the second one, same track 5 mins behind. ( LD59 and PO14 were noted at Souda that week)
Other mil movements noted............ all inbound other than the P-3's which were all eastbound over Heraklion.

Not strictly mil....... but noted on fire fighting duties (not the best thing to see on your first day!!!) was Ka32
