New Kadena F-22A deployment

In a surprise move,at least 9 F-22A from 3 Wing,90 FS have arrived at Kadena today.

Photos taken on recovery of these jets to Kadena show (assumed to be in landing sequence),

The jets from the already resident 27 FS were flying today.How much longer these 1 FW Raptors will remain at Kadena is unknown.

A similtanious F-22 deployment here from more than one unit is unprecedented.

Apparently the Langley Raptors had deployed to Kadena because of runway reconstruction work at their home base. The other F-22 squadron (94th FS) is currently deployed to Savannah, Georgia in the continental US.

The FF Raptors from Savannah have gone back to Langley as the base has re-opened.

90FS should be 09-4190, 3WG should be 10-4193, I have nothing for 11AF!
