My first day out with my new Camera (EHVK&GLV V)

Post by Nielis »

Yesterday I bought a new Body so I decided to take it for a spin today.
I started this morning with a visit to Volkel AB. A total of 7 F-16's and 1 PC-7 was noted

1. We started the day with a PC-7
Image

2. Next up where two aproaches by the RNLAF Test Plane from EHLW with the nickname "Orange Jumper"
Image

3. Then the Volkel F-16's came back from there morning missions
Image

4. This one banked really nice
Image

5. Apparantly there aren't many F-16's available for local missions so they pulled the Orange Lion from her cave.
Image

After the morning mission at Volkel I drove to the GLV V to try some shots on the Helo's

There where to different CH-47D flight active during the day. The Callsigns where Grizzly21(around 13:00) and Grizzly22(Around 15:00)
Both flights made use of D-663 with the nickname "Blizzard"

6.

9. This is the new Engineer Tank of the Dutch Army, It is called the Kodiak

C+C Welcome

Thanks all, The unsharpness was one of the things that stood out for me aswell. I was fighting to find the right shutterspeed and focus points. I now used the 19 point focus point, I'm wondering if anyone with 7D experience have some focuspoint advise for me?

Hi...

Maybe a stupid question, but... how do I show the exif information on my screen?
When I click on a picture, using the right mouse button, and select "Properties" (eigenschappen) I don't see any exif information... I only see the tab "General" (algemeen).

You need to download an exif viewer plug-in for your browser...

This one https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/a ... if-viewer/ works fine with Firefox

good luck!

I also have the 7D and I have the same experience as you. Unsharp photos. I have no idea how this can be. I tried all sorts of setting with the AF, but with no results. Maybe my camera needs to be calibrated with the lenses I use. I’m also concerned with the noise the 7D produces. I see the same amount of noise, and even worse, in my photos. They are taken with similar conditions as your photos. But maybe I’m being a “zeikert”….
