A rather enjoyable wait for the flight back home..
I was there last weekend. Scramble airfield guide Spot 4 is a great spot. On Sunday we were here from 08.00 till 13.00 and noted around 30+ military active aircraft!
Spotting landside (outside) in the terminal is difficult. Airside (inside, past customs) is great, with good very clear windows and good views on the military apron. Book a cheap VivaColombia ticket (20 Euro) and stay in the terminal....
the spot inside McDs is good as you are hidden from general passers by, just make sure you buy something from them. The windows can be a little dirty but photos are passable and possible.
underneath McDs in the wider general area you're more likely to be spotted by the police who will tell you to stop taking photos and to go somewhere else.
