That's due to the frame rate of the camera that the footage was shot with... I gues it was a 25p rate camera.

Now that's correct :-) shot in 25P instead of 50P.

[Video] A-10 Shooting at the Nordhorn Range 19-04-2004

Post by vonk179 »

Now the A-10's from Spangdahlem will be drawn back to the US of A, I uploaded a small video of A-10's shooting at the Nordhorn Range.
Back then the camera's did not have full HD so the quality is not that good.
Hope you like the video.

Those were the days at Klausheide.

I spent a lot off (school)time at the Nordhornrange.
Especially in the Buccaneer, Jaguar, Harriertimes and later Tornado's. And of course a lot off other NATO-stuff.

Nice footage Arjen. The ground shaking underneath your feet while shooting there Avenger gun.

The A-10's, they will be missed :byebye:

By the way Arjen, do you know if the Nordhorn Range is still in use nowadays.

If yes, is that all week over or only a few days a week? Maybe anyone else got the anwer on that?

Nice video, but for the sake of effect, I would try to synchronize the sound with the video footage. Although from the distance to the aircraft and the time it takes sound to travel to your microphone, it looks a bit awkward that the sound is off by a second or so.

Richard,

This is how it sounds when watching it live.
So I do not change anything with the sound.

Confirm.. watching axalp has the same. Sound travels slower than the smoke of the gun you see pouring rounds oyt of the GAU-8

Zhukovsky 100 Years Russian Air Force airshow 2012

Post by Chrisse »

Video report on the 100th anniversary airshow of the Russian air force held at Zhokovsky in 2012. The video was shot on Saturday and Sunday, outside the base, straight in the heart of the action. This video also includes the vintage aircraft that formed the morning part of the show. The static is not included, making this report truly action-packed!

Hope you'll enjoy it.
