In the immediate aftermath of this incident in 1997 at Heathrown only photos appeared of Virgin Airbus A-340 G-VSKY landing with only part of her undercarriage down, but as you can see above also video footage has now come to light!

After this mishap G-VSKY remained in service with Virgin until 2003, when she was sold to BWIA.
According to http://www.planespotters.net/Production ... lantic.php this then only 15-years-old airframe was scrapped in 2009
