F-5 preserved at Dubendorf

Post by leonard van T »

a picture on Facebook shows a freshly painted F-5 in Patrouille Suisse colors and fake(?) serial J-3013 (crashed 1981)
it sits on a pole in front of the museum. it looks like it replaced the Vampire J-1126

Who knows when it did arrive here and what is its real serial ?

it is also visible on Google Earth, but not yet on Steet View

The F-5E "J-3013" was placed on a pole on 10th april last year. It is the former J-3096 which was the BDRT at Meiringen since 10-10-2000. At this date the J-3096 made a heavy landing and was therefore WFU.
