Drifting a bit off topic but in the good old day,s a unit was known before touchdown.
Pre REACH callsign era the WYLIE callsign was often heard on Mildenhall and usually one of four KC-135D from the Kansas ANG touched down for a crew swap whit the TDY RC-135,s from Offut AFB.
Nowaday,s mostly REACH callsign,s are used and it could be any unit.

Cant find my old logbooks anymore but there where a lot of different callsign,s used whit the tanker unit,s to and from Mildenhall.
And not only by the tankers but all other MAC/AMC traffic.
