You mean mainland as in Europe or USA/Canada?
Edit: thanks Otto

No problem, thanks for your reply.

If all goes as planned the fighter should be about to land on het homebase again in The Netherlands.

4 Gripen departed Nellis on Monday 4th (along with RCH051 KC10 83-0079) and night stopped at Bangor before departing to Lajes on Tuesday 5th. A rest day then off home on Thursday 7th.

The other 4 Gripen also departed Nellis on Monday 4th (along with RCH061 KC10 87-0118) but due to technical issues diverted to Offutt before continuing on to Bangor. Due to more technical problems they didn't depart to Lajes until Wednesday 6th and after a rest day departed Lajes on Friday 8th.

see the Swedish Air Force blog - blogg.forsvarsmakten.se/flygvapenbloggen/

does anybody have the serial tie ups for each flight of Gripens? The callsign for the first flight was SVF Q01 - 04. I'm assuming the 2nd flight was SVF Q05 - 08
