Question for Kirsty: all these Aitrainer that you mention - where these all part of the group of 10 aircraft parked right next to the static area (behind the two F-5's)?

One addition is RR.26 a CT/4B (with orange markings). There are only 5 CT/4B's with 604Sq, however RR.28 is repainted in the 604Sq colors and was on the static display.

On the picture you can also see a CT/4A with 100 yrs RTAF markings. Id ??

Cheers,

Code on nose is 20318, with should make it H6-38/46 ? But Thai serial is hard to read and don't look like 38/46, so maybe you can have a look at your original picture or send us an exploded view of the serial ??

Yes...you are right...the serial is present just in front of the door. Hadn't noticed it before. Here are two blow ups. My guess is that the serial is H6-04/46 but I find it hard to read...

On second thoughts: I think it really is H6-38/46 code 20318. Not so easy those serials.

I agree with 38/46, but the "3" in the Thai serial is hard to read !

Hi Kirsty,

Could you confirm what you did read off yourself and what you looked up? I am especially interested in the L-39s, since their codes and serials don't match the info in the Scramble database. We were are Don Muang the day before, and saw tow L-39's arrive, so would love to know which ones these were. And any info on the CT/4's on the platform would be appreciated as well. We saw four flying a demo on the day before as well, and we read off codes 15, 18 and 23. Problem is that 15 should be in the 604 sq c/s, and I think all the ones we saw flying were in the grey and orange....
Cheers,
