RAMA 62 Thunders out of Mildenhall

It was a pity about the overcast conditions but the sight and sound of RAMA 62 thundering down runway 11 was worth the trip out. Here are a selection of shots from the departure.

A couple of minutes were spent on the line up throttling the engines up and down in dry power, No.2 engine can be seen at max dry in this shot.

Then 4 thundering afterburners were engaged as she rolled.

Nice report with attention for details. I wish we could see one nearby.
I saw one fly by when I was on holiday in Hawaii. What a sound!
